Trees, Water & People does not sell or trade user information outside the organization, nor does it send donor mailings or solicitations on behalf of other organizations. Occasionally, Trees, Water & People may contract with outside vendors to conduct donor interest and satisfaction research across our donor base. Personally identifiable data will not be used for any other purpose other than for research commissioned by Trees, Water & People. The results of such research would be used only by Trees, Water & People to monitor shifts in donor preferences.

At Trees, Water & People, we take precautions to protect your personal information. When you submit sensitive information via our website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. Trees, Water & People expects all employees to fully comply with any published records retention or destruction policies and schedules. From time to time, TWP will establish retention or destruction policies or schedules for specific categories of records in order to ensure legal compliance, and also to accomplish other objectives.

Whistle Blower Policy

Trees, Water & People's Code of Ethics and Conduct requires directors, officers, and employees to observe high standards of business and personal ethics in the conduct of their duties and responsibilities. No director, officer, or employee who in good faith reports a violation of the Code shall suffer harassment, retaliation, or adverse employment consequence. An employee who retaliates against someone who has reported a violation is subject to discipline up to and including termination of employment. This Whistle blower Policy is intended to encourage and enable employees and others to raise serious concerns within Trees, Water & People prior to seeking resolution outside the organization.
